Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011) as well as the spokesperson of the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 through 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she worked for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki then was appointed the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was also the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] There was speculation she was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. She was named communications director at the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of the year in 2015.
